About Us
Our mission is to provide support and facilities for a multidisciplinary team approach to child abuse investigations, prosecution, and treatment; to protect and assist children and families in crisis; and to provide leadership in the community for child abuse and neglect prevention and education.
Ryan’s House exists to protect children, support families in crisis, and lead our community in the response to child abuse and neglect. As a Child Advocacy Center, we provide a safe, child-focused environment where professionals from law enforcement, child welfare, medical, mental health, and legal fields work together to ensure every child receives compassionate care and justice.
Our purpose is to:
Coordinate investigations through a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach
Conduct trauma-informed forensic interviews and medical exams in a child-friendly setting
Support families with advocacy, resources, and referrals
Promote healing through mental health connections and ongoing care
Educate and empower the community to prevent abuse and protect children
At the heart of our work is the belief that every child deserves safety, dignity, and hope—and every family deserves support.
At Ryan’s House, we believe that protecting children and supporting families requires a united front. Our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) brings together professionals from multiple agencies to ensure a coordinated, compassionate response to child abuse and neglect.
Who’s on the Team?
Our MDT includes:

Medical Professionals – Conduct forensic exams and assess health needs
Mental Health Providers – Offer trauma-informed therapy and emotional support
Forensic Interviewers – Facilitate neutral, child-centered interviews
