Forensic Interviewer & MDT Facilitator
Sydnee Drain is a skilled and compassionate advocate and Forensic Interviewer with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and certification as a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Facilitator. She brings extensive training in victim advocacy and forensic interviewing, supporting children and families with professionalism, empathy, and trauma-informed care. Sydnee plays a vital role in coordinating collaborative responses to abuse, ensuring that every child’s voice is heard and every family receives the support they need.
A married mother of three, Sydnee finds joy in spending time with her family.

Jesseka Whitman
Executive Director and Forensic Interviewer
Jesseka Whitman is the Executive Director and Forensic Interviewer at Ryan’s House Child Advocacy Center, where she leads multidisciplinary efforts to support children and families impacted by abuse. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, a Master’s degree in Early Intervention, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Forensic Sciences. With deep expertise in trauma-informed care, grant compliance, and collaborative service delivery, Jesseka blends strategic leadership with hands-on advocacy to ensure high-quality, sustainable support for underserved communities.
A married mother of three, Jesseka finds joy in family time, traveling, and outdoor adventures—bringing warmth and balance to both her personal and professional life.

Heather Nowlin
Family Advocate
Heather Nowlin is a dedicated advocate for children and families, bringing extensive training and hands-on experience to her role in victim services. She holds a Victim Advocacy Certification through Oklahoma State University and has completed numerous specialized trainings in trauma-informed care, crisis response, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Heather is known for her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to supporting those impacted by abuse.
A proud mother of four, Heather finds balance and inspiration in spending time with her children.

Ryan’s House is led by a diverse and dedicated group of professionals who bring expertise in law enforcement, child welfare, healthcare, education, nonprofit leadership, and community advocacy. Each member shares a deep commitment to the safety, healing, and empowerment of children and families in southeastern Oklahoma.
